Internal Communications & PR Assistant

My client is a global wellness technology company, inspiring millions of people to adopt healthy habits for real life!  They do this through engaging digital experiences, face-to-face workshops and sustainable programs that encompass healthy eating, physical activity and positive mindset. By drawing on over five decades of experience and expertise in behavioural science, they build communities in order to deliver wellness for all!  I am excited to share this new hire of an Internal Communications and PR Assistant, to join their collaborative PR, Social and Internal comms team!

The role will have two strands – Internal comms & employee engagement, and PR.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of both of these remits, however as this level is relatively junior, this is not expected.  The ideal recruit will have experience of one and an understanding / insight / interest, of the other.

Key Responsibilites:

Comm & Engagement;

• Support the Internal Comms & Engagement Manager to ensure that brand messages land consistently and clearly both internally and externally, providing clarity of how people across the business should act and behave and all what they strive to achieve.
• Support in continually improving, delivering and assessing the effectiveness of the communication strategy and employee engagement initiatives across the whole business.
• Champion the strategy to ensure UK employees continually engage  with & use internal Global communication platforms  to ensure the brand vision is understood across all areas of the business.
• Support with the annual employee engagement survey set up and results communications
• Support the good social impact campaigns through coordination of events and initiatives.

PR; 

• Support the PR Manager to champion member success stories across press and magazines.
• Manage all day-to-day press office enquiries.
• Work with internal content team and publisher to utilise success stories and features.
• Develop and maintain on-going media relations to foster strong relationships.
• Support PR Manager to create and develop content for campaign materials across PR.
• Work closely with PR Manager and provide guidance to Operations team and Wellness Coaches to support local PR activity.
