Senior Account Manager / Account Director - Issues & Crisis

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global consultancy searching for an astute and driven Senior Account Manager / Account Director who can specialise in crisis, issues, and reputation management. You will work across a range of sectors and advise high profile clients on business-critical issues, including media engagement and public affairs. The role would suit a team player who would like to join a talented and ambitious team.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a range of crisis, issues and reputation management work
  • Being the main point of contact with the client on planning and delivery of significant programmes of work
  • Leading an account team to develop client proposals
  • Ensuring quality and consistency of service for clients- developing expertise, adding to existing and new products and services.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with crisis management in a communications agency
  • Proven strong media relations skills, direct experience of proactive pitching and active rebuttal.
  • A strong enthusiasm and proactive attitude, with an ability to work in a fast-paced, and high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and communications skills
