The Energy Institute (EI) is the chartered professional membership body bringing global energy expertise together. Our ambition is that energy, and its critical role in our world, is better understood, managed and valued.

We are a not-for-profit organisation supporting a unique network of professionals with insight spanning the world of energy, from conventional oil and gas to the most innovative renewable and energy efficient technologies.

We are looking for a dynamic Communications Officer to join a small team at the heart of the organisation to play an important role across a broad mix of communication channels.

Candidates will be articulate, self-driven, adaptable communicators with some evidence of previous experience handling member communications, public relations or marketing communications.

You will need to demonstrate an ability to write engaging, high impact copy tailored to target audiences, familiarity with a mix of communication channels and an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, at pace and to a high level of accuracy.

An interest in energy and climate change would be a distinct advantage.

A job description is available from the EI website.  To apply please submit your CV and covering letter by 2 June. The covering letter should be no more than one side and should convey the three key reasons for your suitability. Interviews will be held during w/c 10 June.
