Press Officer - Automotive   

We are looking for a highly motivated Press Officer to join one of the UK’s leading Automotive Trade Associations. This role will be based in Central London and you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from industry experts and gain experience working on one of the biggest associations in the industry.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Writing a range of copy including press releases, blog posts, marketing material and editorial pieces
• Pitching stories to the media
• Organising and attending events
• Manage the media database and press release distribution
• Proactively build and maintain media relationships
• Play an active part in digital and social activity around regular press releases

You will need: 

• Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Excellent writing skills
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teamwork
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines.
• A clear understanding of media requirements.
• Competent IT skills
