Head of Communications

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Communications to join a busy and fast-paced marketing and communications team. With strong communications skills across multiple channels, both traditional and emerging, you’ll manage an integrated communications team aligned to business needs.
Externally, you’ll enhance our reputation and brand through the delivery of communications strategies. You’ll build and maintain relationships across key stakeholder and influencer groups and ensure that messages regarding the University’s strategic direction are heard and amplified across all available channels.
Internally, you’ll develop and deliver a successful communications strategy to engage our employees during a period of significant change and growth.
You will have a high-profile portfolio of projects to manage and will need to balance competing demands across a range of stakeholders. Resilience will be essential, as will the ability to meet deadlines across multiple work streams whilst maintaining an excellent eye for detail.
