One of London’s leading consultancies is looking for an ambitious junior to join their well respected team specialising in corporate communications and public affairs. This role is the ideal opportunity for a motivated candidate looking to build their career alongside some of the industry’s best and brightest talent! As Junior Account Executive / Account Executive, your responsibilities will include:

• Increased media facing work including selling-in stories to the media and securing meetings with journalists

• Drafting press releases and other media briefing material

• Research for client projects and initiatives

• Monitoring and logging media coverage and social media channels to help evaluate the effectiveness of communications programmes

• Assisting in planning for events, including liaison with venues and suppliers

• Attending brainstorms to develop ideas for client programmes

The ideal Junior Account Executive / Account Executive will have:

• Some PR experience, ideally within the corporate sector

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and good attention to detail

• Experience of working on integrated communications – strong social media knowledge

• Working knowledge of digital communications

• A passion for the media

• The ability to collaborate and work effectively within a diverse team

• Feel comfortable with working on a range of client teams
