In this newly created Assistant Head of Communications role, you’ll be accountable for planning and delivering internal and external communications, marketing, engagement and public affairs; devising smart strategies and practical delivery plans. Crucially, you’ll keep our strategic objectives in mind whatever the project or campaign. You will also have the presence and knowledge to advice at the highest level.
You’ll be able to motivate and develop our team of communications professionals – ensuring that we go on achieving outstanding outcomes. You will also set high standards across the council.
