Senior Corporate PR Manager

The role of Senior Corporate PR Manager is to help manage the airline’s response on issues that could have a bearing on its corporate reputation. They will help to manage financial and corporate PR including financial calendar set pieces throughout the year around financial reporting and also more complex longer term issues like the gender pay gap or sustainability. They will also support on key reputational crisis issues always working to ensure the company is positively promoted within the media as well as robustly defending its reputation when required.
Crisis & issue management
Responsible for Corporate reputational issue management, with focus on more complex and long lead issues (e.g. Gender pay gap, Living wage)
Responsible for leading on Corporate reputational crisis issues that are non-aviation specific (e.g. Brexit, Transport Select Committee)
- Work in collaboration with Senior communications team as integral part of supporting critical crisis issues across the network
Lead and manage the Tier 1 media (UK and international) handling with a focus on Transport, City, & Political (non-reactive side)
Develop, implement and lead integrated Corporate/PA/PR campaigns on, for example; Tegel turnaround, changes in European airspace, Gender pay
Lead on CEO media and speaking programme, including preparing materials for CEO speeches in UK and other Markets where team requires support
- Lead on all elements of the financial calendar, in collaboration with the Director of Communications and CCO, including creating
Act as easyJet Holidays liaison an for for the Corporate Communications team and ensure a common approach to crisis and materials
The role is predominantly UK centric, however, support to the team across the network on corporate PR matters may be required
