Global Head of Internal Communications (Fluent in Spanish)

- We are looking for a Spanish-speaking Global Head of Internal Communications for a top multinational based in Barcelona. This person will be responsible for internal communication strategy development and execution at a Corporate level.

- He/she will ensure messaging alignment in leadership communications and will work closely with the HR department to support its communication efforts. Responsibilities will also include fostering company culture, helping to create events and inspiring heritage and employee stories to leverage corporate culture.

- This position will report into the VP of Communication and will manage a digital team in charge of internal channels.

Key responsibilities

- Collaborate with senior leaders to build internal communication strategies that strengthen networks and messages align with business objectives that drive both team member and company success.

- Ensure successful communication of organisational initiatives and projects to employees and stakeholders.

- Supervise and help plan, edit, source to develop content for a variety of internal communications platforms (i.e. portal, email, leadership meetings, etc.).

- Set agendas and provide strategic oversight & direction of company-wide communications, evaluating outcomes to ensure relevancy, quality and effectiveness.

- Serve as a catalyst to drive the company’s culture by partnering with key departmental leaders (HR) to develop strategy, content, and distribution channels that support employees across the company.

- Work collaboratively with peer colleagues in departments such as Marketing, HR, Investor Relations, etc to ensure consistency of messaging, and compelling narratives across various audiences and channels and reinforce a strong culture.

- Develop best-in-class processes and protocols for all internal communications and provide tools, channels and programs that establish a strong communications baseline for managers and leaders.

- Gather team member sentiment analysis to help senior leaders understand team members’ perspective on company direction, strategy, culture, etc.

- Manage a high-volume of communication initiatives simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

- Demonstrate the ability to understand multiple, diverse stakeholders, anticipate the impact of company actions on corporate reputation, and translate complex issues into clear, simple and consistent messages and themes. Act as an advisor on company reputation, values and culture

- Develop and execute internal communication campaigns, including idea generation, development of project plans, and management of partner constituencies.

- Drive engagement in internal communications through innovative approaches that invite participation and include sound change management principles.
