Event Manager - Global Construction Company

A highly reputable global construction company has an opening for an Event Manager within their marcomms team which delivers over 100 events per year, this could be anything from an intimate breakfast to large scale conferences and events.

Events are an essential element of the company's marketing strategy, they provide crucial opportunities to interact with the company's clients, facilitate knowledge share, demonstrate thought leadership and showcase the excellent work and expertise of this company and its people.

You will be responsible for managing every aspect of the event process, from venue sourcing and budget management, to briefing suppliers and delegate management. You will be tasked with liaising regularly with clients and you will be required to attend and lead events. You will have ample opportunity to have sole ownership of projects as well as working alongside the head of events on the larger scale events and campaigns.

*Event management of large-scale events and conferences
*An understanding of professional service and/or the building/property industry
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Project management experience
*Excellent client handling skills
*Keen eye for detail
*Sound financial acumen
*Proven ability to multi-task, juggle conflicting priorities within tight timelines to high client expectations
