As an Account Manager you should drive the accounts. You should be a capable and confident operator who has a thorough understanding of the required media and communication skills and who is fully in control of the media tools available to create the required media coverage in all PR areas.

The role:

The role should be to carry out the execution of the strategies and activities as detailed by your account directors, ensuring that programmes and objectives are being adhered to, and that your accounts are well organised.

Role deliverables: Account Management/Working with clients

  • Provide a senior and qualified voice in client meetings;
  • Play the central role in the team and take full responsibility for your clients and any problems;
  • Ensuring best practice and high quality client service across the account;
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with clients to retain them;
  • Taking a key role in presentations to existing clients;
  • Monthly reports and analysis;
  • Coming up with regular and consistently strong story ideas for clients;
  • Identifying publicity opportunities;
  • Taking a key role in presentations at new business pitches and documentation creation for this;
  • Lead new business brainstorms and have a creative input in all new business pitches within account group;
