Senior Account Director – 4 days a week –  Long Contract - Health & Issues (at least some recent pharmaceutical PR experience required) – London – up to £65,000 pro rata

My client is a superb independent agency in London who are looking for a Senior Account Director to join the healthcare and corporate issues team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. You will be working across a range of OTC healthcare and corporate clients to raise awareness, create engagement and drive behaviour change amongst consumers, health care professionals and influencers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high quality content, often covering complex subject matter
  • Issues management including drafting messaging and statements and managing media enquiries, often within tight timeframes
  • Event support for European meetings
  • Managing delivery of client programmes including planning, content development, media and influencer relations activity, measurement and reporting
  • Managing, supporting and coaching junior team to ensure delivery across accounts
  • Acting as the day to day account lead and client relationship manager across a number of accounts

The ideal candidate will have experience working agency-side across a mix of healthcare and corporate issues clients at Senior Account Manager, Account Director or Senior Account Director level. Ideally you will have some pharmaceutical/ethical healthcare experience. For the 12-month contract and on a four-day office-based week, my client is offering a salary up to £65,000 pro rata depending on experience.
