Senior PR Executive

PR Executive - Birmingham - £27, 500 DOE + bonus + benefits

This long established and progressive B2B organisation known for their specialist skills in fine design and the production of high-quality products are looking for a PR Executive to join their team based in Birmingham.

This is a key role within the business and marketing team managing the PR output for the company, leading on the communication of the company's core products, projects and company information in line with other marketing predominantly via press releases, website and quarterly magazine. This individual will need to be able to work autonomously within a small but

Responsibilities will include:

• Creation of PR and media plan


• Budget management


• Work closely with sales managers and customers to create case studies on both historical and recent projects


• Writing press releases on events and product launches (full content creation)


• Media relations (predominantly trade journals, both local and national)


• Creation of the company quarterly magazine - Create all content and work closely with the in-house graphics team for production


• Creation of monthly digital newsletters


• Update and maintain the relevant sections of the company website via the company CMS system


• Copywriting and proof-reading of for new collateral, advertising and mailings


• Maintain the company projects image library


• Manage external photography partners as necessary


• Stakeholder management


• Generate management reports

The successful candidate should come from a PR background and will have previous experience within a similar role. The business in general is a high energy organisation who are proud and ambitious and operate a collaborative and united culture with regular business wide social events etc. Due to the layout of the building though the marketing team does sit separately to other commercial functions and so the successful candidate must also be happy to work day to day within a relatively small marketing team of 6.
