Account Director – Consumer PR – Food, Travel, FMCG and Lifestyle clients

One of London’s most popular Consumer PR agencies is looking for a dynamic Account Director to join their team!

The successful candidate will head up some exciting accounts including a new food client (big name, but top secret win currently), travel organisation and a dieting brand, along with a focus on new business.

They have a bar in their office, monthly massages, staff regular nights out (not compulsory but you’ll want to go) and generally have a lot of laughs along the way.

This agency operates very much within the B2C space and focusses heavily on Food + Drink, Travel, Technology and Lifestyle and they have a very healthy client portfolio which includes both UK and global accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Act as senior client and media liaison
• Grow the client media base in your area
• Write / oversee team pitches to the media
• Ensure all client briefs are clearly defined and understood by the team
• Produce creative and inspiring campaign proposals across traditional and digital media
• Keep abreast of industry developments and ensure the team is adapting to them
• Provide the MD with accurate information for contracting and accounts

Requirements:

• PR Agency experience – client experience in the Consumer/B2C sector is necessary
• Strong media relations background
• Management experience
• Desire to get stuck in with all other aspects of the business away from traditional PR
