Account Director, Healthcare - Major Account / Enormous scope (Global Network Firm)

The healthcare team of a leading network firm is looking for a new Account Director to join its thriving health offering. This is an exciting opportunity that will provide the successful hire with a large major account to look after an make their own. In addition, you will be keen to be part of the strategic development of the business and its growth plans and by this you will have the freedom to focus on your own interests and passions within the healthcare sector; developing and focusing on business that truly stimulates and resonates with you. You will have a proven track record of managing and nurturing junior talent and have excellent relations with journalists, healthcare professionals and KOLs.

The work has included a wide range of health communications projects both on a global and domestic scale and includes extensive disease awareness campaigns, advocacy, and projects around the changing health policy landscape and science campaigns around beauty brands for a major consumer & lifestyle manufacturer.

Previous experience in agency is a must, but in-house talent would also be of interest as long as they have had some agency experience beforehand.
