My client, a leading agency in the West Midlands are looking for an Events Account Manager to join their growing team at this exciting time. My client works across a fantastic remit of blue-ship clients along with small to medium sized businesses working with some leading brands on some incredible projects.

This fantastic agency is based just outside of Birmingham city centre, in a beautiful converted barn filled with a busy, buzzy team of talented events professionals. As Events Account Manager you will be working across a portfolio of clients and delivering projects. You will have excellent project management experience and also love to do the do!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of a range of projects working with different sized clients on different events.


• You will both oversee and be hands on in client management; taking a brief to really understand your client requirements and then brief internal departments


• Budget management and additional financial support ensuring processes are followed


• Supplier management and negotiations


• Attending new business meetings as and when required


• Content development and delivery


• Managing the logistics of event delivery


• Inspiring and motivating more junior members of the team.

Key skills and experience:

• A passion for project management and a love for the events industry


• Enjoy working as part of a team and bouncing ideas around as well as being able to work autonomously


• Able to manage your own workload along with changing priorities


• Strong operational event experience


• Video production experience is a big bonus!


• Excellent communications skills
