Chief Communications Specialist- Riyadh

An international strategic communications agency is looking for a Hospital Chief Communications Officer to join their expanding Middle East practice based in Riyadh! The successful candidate will be seconded in-house to lead a Hospital in its communications. The agency and its professionals have played leading roles in virtually every major health care issue considered over the past few decades and our clients have included leading health care systems, pharmaceutical manufacturers, provider societies, trade associations. This is an amazing opportunity in one of the fastest growing economies in the world!

Responsibilities:

• Navigating challenging policy, political, and business challenges in the hospital and health care industry

• Leading teams and projects

• Directing strategy, overseeing quality of work and balancing staffing appropriately

• Acting as mentor and coach to junior members of team

•  Actively networking to identify new business prospects

• Supporting annual business planning efforts

Requirements:

•  Excellent media relations, writing, editing, skills and ability to serve as spokesperson 

•  Deep hospital communications experience required, including knowledge of strategic communications and marketing

• At least 15-20 years of experience of relevant communications experience 

• Natural leadership capabilities with exceptional people management and development skills

• Willingness to be based in Riyadh
