PR Manager - In-House

Job Details

We have partnered with a European travel insurance provider based in Kent, who have been established for over 20 years and whose mission is to be committed to great customer service and to build healthy long-term relationships with their partners. They now seek to appoint a PR Manager. 

The PR Manager will be responsible for managing the groups' public profile and your initial focus will be on reputation management for this fast-growing, and increasingly high-profile company.  You’ll also be responsible for getting their name out there as a disruptor and leader of change in the travel insurance sector.

In the longer term, you’ll be involved in building and developing relationships with key journalists and stakeholders in the personal finance, travel and insurance sectors in order to protect and enhance the group's reputation. Your goal will be to educate people about travel insurance; change the way it’s perceived, and ultimately change the way people buy their travel cover.

The Person:

Comprehensive in-house media relations experience – agency experience with the right profile will also be considered
Experience in corporate communications and dealing with negative media inquiries
Proven track record executing successful public relations campaigns in trade, specialist and national media
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Experience with social media 
Event planning experience

Package and Benefits:
