One of the UK’s most innovative startups are looking for a digital savvy PR & Social Media Manager to join the rapidly growing team. As a PR & Social Media Manager you will be helping to shape and define the PR and Social Media strategy for the company and your time will be split between traditional PR and social channels. You will be supporting both traditional PR, as well having a good understanding of SEO.  

Responsibilities 

  • Lead on all relevant/key social channels – planning and execution of social media element of integrated comms plan
  •  Own PR for SEO and support on the day-to-day press office function, media and influencer relations across all relevant media
  •  Support the customer service team in leveraging social channels to help customers
  • Collaborate with the digital performance marketing team and product team to ensure social/PR activity is timely and integrated with paid activity and the customer journey
  • Use data and insights to both inform on customer behaviour and attitudes and apply to PR and social activity in order to optimise output
  • Build relationships with media/channel owners to benefit from the latest thinking and innovation (FB, Google, Twitter etc)

Requirements

  • Experience of PR & social media activity on a digital retail brand in the UK 
  • Track record of using social channels to help grow a brand and support customer service
  • A good working understanding of how PR, Content, Social and SEO 
  • Experience of managing tools the social listening and monitoring capability
  • A planner, problem solver with exceptional attention to detail
  • Curiosity about future trends & innovation
  • Comfortable understanding of how data and insights can constantly customer understanding
  • Ability to identify engaging content that aligns with the wider customer and brand strategy
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and enjoyment of a fast paced and collaborative working environment
