Join our team as a Global Communications and External Affairs Executive and you’ll experience a range of roles (plus an international placement) during a two-year development programme. If all goes well, you’ll join us in a permanent role. 

About the opportunity 

Over the two years, you’ll enjoy a number of placements ranging from social media to government relations to business communications. While most roles are UK-based, there will also be a chance to complete an international placement.

Activities will vary according to the placement but will include contributing to and executing integrated campaign plans. Added to that, you’ll help research and write executive briefs and reports that support our thought leadership – as well as designing social media content and communications plans on key projects.

About you 

You’ll be a degree-level educated ambitious communications professional, with around three to five years’ relevant experience. That could have been spent within an in-house team, external agency, political office (or its equivalent), contributing to social media, press and integrated campaigns. 

Already, you’re starting to gain good writing skills, with great attention to detail and a talent for creating a variety of content. You’ll also have proven management ability, along with a background in data research and analysis, insights and campaign effectiveness. 

It’s important that you have an understanding of issues such as climate change. Also, because we’re a relationship-based company, your ability to build enduring and influencing relationships will be key to your success.
