Account Director - Public Affairs

A thriving strategic political consultancy are looking for an Account Director to join their team! As Account Director, you will be providing political, industry and strategic expertise and leading on a number of accounts spanning a range of sectors, including health, education and transport. You will also play a key role in securing new business with both existing and new clients. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, politically aware and able to develop, manage and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic communications to a portfolio of clients

• Managing and developing client relationships

• Owning and managing accounts including budget, allocation and resourcing

• Seeking out new business opportunities

• Leading and mentoring junior team members

• Making sure direct reports are aware of any policy or procedural changes

Requirements:

• Strong strategic communications and political experience

• Confident pitching and presenting the agency to clients

• Experience managing multiple accounts successfully

• Solid written and verbal communications skills

• Experience leading account teams
