Senior Account Manager / Account Director

My client is a leading comms agency that have an integrated approach to all of their work, with the added help of being part of a larger group.  They have a super smart and extremely strong senior management team, both operationally and creatively and they are excitedly looking for a Senior Account Manager / Account Director to join one of their key teams!!  You will ideally have large brand experience already under your belt, however a passion and enthusiastic approach is a winner with this agency!  

There are two specific clients that would be within your remit – oneis a leaderwithin the consumer energy space.  The account is a large, multi-faceted account that is run as a fully integrated team within the larger business group.  Work is afoot to deliver some really creative, disruptive campaigns that will set the energy provider apart from its competitors.   It is a great opportunity to work in a truly integrated team.

The other is a telecoms client.  There is big brand building campaigns as well as press office work with this client.  Particular media relations experience and current media contacts are crucial to this client, as is the ability to spot and sell a story. The agency also devise campaigns for their charitable foundation, the charitable arm of this client that aims to use “tech for good”.  The agency has launched several initiatives that support cancer and domestic abuse victims. Previous experience in the telecoms market is advantageous, but not mandatory.  Experience of consumer tech will also be helpful.

The ideal hire will have the ability to multi-task on both accounts have several work streams.  They are very busy accounts which require supreme organisational skills to keep everything moving.  The role will suit someone who has a real can-do attitude, who won’t stop until the job gets done. 

The ideal candidate for this role would be a team player, that is smart and quick to reactwho thrives in a fast-paced environment!  You’llneed to be on top of your gameand feel excitement knowing you will be working with smart clients, that love to bat ideas around and always be looking at campaigns with a commercial eye!  You may be a Senior Account Manager currently, potentially looking to step up, or a newly appointed, confident Account Director looking for a new challenge!
