Our client is looking for a PR Executive to join their busy press team. You will play an active role in promoting the work that secures PR and media coverage that communicates key projects and stories in the UK national press - with a particular focus on longlead media.

With a proven track record in PR, you'll also have a friendly and inquisitive approach essential for digging out stories that will raise awareness of our client's work coupled with good organisational skills to manage a busy workload. Candidates should be interested and knowledgeable in environmental issues and be able to apply these interests to their work.

Our client's Public Relations team is responsible for implementing key aspects of the charity's communications strategy and raising the charity's public profile. The team is responsible for the charity's relationship with the public, demonstrating its impact, inspiring people to connect with nature and providing ways for them to take action to save it.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Europe's biggest nature conservation charity, using the media to help influence policy, make their campaigns more impactful and ultimately improve the fortunes of our most treasured species and habitats.

The job will involve some out of hours work including providing an effective on-call service for the media about one week in six. There will also be occasional travel across the UK.
