About The Account Manager Role


As an Account Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to show of your creativity and leadership skills, whilst being fully supported by an Account Director and a junior team working predominantly in B2C with B2B elements.


Key Responsibilities for the Account Manager:



  • Act as the key point of contact for the main automobile manufacturer brand; you will be an extension of the brand's in-house PR team and be on secondment a few days a week at their HQ

  • Lead creative input to brand's PR team as well as their campaigns (with support from the account director)

  • Develop excellent client relationships and be the main "go to" person for clients

  • Proactively seek out media opportunities and research market insights

  • Draft and oversee team production of copy, press releases, campaign and media materials and drive the development of creative ideas and content

  • Support the AD with strategy and media distribution plans


About You

Essential Skills of the Account Manager:



  • 3+ years PR experience with a strong interest in cars and the world of automotive

  • Competent writer who can create focussed copy tailored to specific audiences or platforms

  • Experience managing junior staff

  • Ideally have experience in the automotive industry (in-house or agency)
