My clients, a global pharma company, is looking for a Science and Engagement Manager to help develop integrated communication plans that positively impact culture, employee engagement and performance. This is a rare and really exciting opportunity to join a leading comms team at this level. It would be perfect for someone at SAM or AD level who wants to move from agency to an in-house role. Or for someone who wants to take another step in their in-house career. However, you must have a science comms or policy background.

You will support the senior team to develop direct science engagement and communications for internal and external activities. You will drive the monthly reporting and various science events for the department. You will also work closely with the broader Communications Team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build and develop communication content and materials for internal and external events
• Engage and energise colleagues with our priorities and report progress
• Drive community building and best practice sharing
• Responsible for team inputs into Communications
• Responsible for inputs into monthly SET reports and Town Halls
• Actively seek out and promote the Science stories, Post Cards and communication around publications and successes
• Lead and facilitate the development of relevant content for communication channels as appropriate
• Drive the material for communication of scorecard content during the year

A background in science (at BSc, MSc or PhD) is vital. As is a strong ability to engage, influence and collaborate across boundaries with delivery focus and a problem-solving attitude. You will also have knowledge of pharmaceutical drug discovery and development processes.
