PR Content Specialist / Manager

This exciting in-house PR role is the opportunity to work for a leading global beauty tech company, based in the beautiful city of Zagreb, Croatia, but to develop brand stories and cut through press releases and content for our 77 countries around the world.

The PR Content Specialist / Manager is a role created to lead our creative storytelling efforts. You may come from an advertising and creative background or be a PR gun - having successfully developed ideas and content on behalf of global clients. Similarly if you are a journalist or writer and know how to identify and develop headline grabbing news stories then this could be the role for you. The role will have you working alongside our internal creative teams to regularly push the boundaries of storytelling for FOREO to the next level. 

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE;

• Assist in driving the storytelling strategy development for all global campaigns including drafting stories and press releases that perfectly communicate our key messages and fit within our content pillars.
• Alongside the global PR Manager, drive annual PR activities such as creative media gifting, press trips, consumer events where necessary and take charge of the content strategy around each activity.
• Research, brief and see through to execution cut through PR assets such as videos, gifs, images and story ideas for all media channels including online, social platforms, print and broadcast.
• Regularly research and draft B2B stories with an emphasis on creating regional alternatives to suit all of our markets.
• Identify and pitch content ideas to support global launches.
• Draft regular media releases and communications updates, FAQs, Interviews, opinion pieces and news stories for global distribution.
• Identify good news stories that can be successful locally, i.e. EMEA, Global, SEA, Oceania and The Americas
• Adapt all global press kits and each press release to suit different media channels such as travel, lifestyle, beauty, news, design etc. In addition, adapt local stories to pitch out wider globally
• Think outside the box and suggest regular BIG activation, PR story ideas or newsjacking opportunities that will have the world and media talking about FOREO.
• Research and investigate tools which can be used to further strengthen the PR department on a global level (industry reports, new software, creative services, global agencies etc).
• Stay across all industry trends / PR trends / news highlights and update relevant team members.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders regularly to scoop the news of FOREO internally that can be communicated externally.

• A PR Gun; you will be energetic, passionate about storytelling, have the ability to adapt any news to FOREO and be a real go-getter.
• This will suit a highly motivated senior account executive who has been working across many clients in a fast paced environment (agency experience preferred).
• A proven storyteller. Let us see your last story and show us how much the media picked it up!
• 3-4 years of experience in a similar position will be appreciated.
• A creative, dynamic, forward thinking person- a solution solver and a doer.
• Understanding the needs of global PR and how to write stories for many regions
• Proactive, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.

• Native english speakers is essential
