Account Director - Consumer tech / lifestyle

Are you looking to work on a range of consumer tech / lifestyle brands? A global London agency are looking to hire an Account Director to join their PR team. Ideally you will have experience working on consumer tech / lifestyle clients with a real passion for the sector. None of the tech work they do is B2B so they're looking for a consumer lead (therefore this person could just have a consumer/lifestyle PR background and the want to work on consumer tech accounts). They are looking for someone who can lead the team, lead strategy for client accounts and help with new business pitches. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the senior management team of a lovely agency. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing consumer client accounts to a high standard - focusing on creative, media, content, social and experiential
• Running various communications programmes
• Leading account teams and mentoring junior team members
• Keeping up to date with the news agenda, trends, latest opinions and events to come up with news angles and ideas
• Acting as day-to-day lead for a range of consumer tech and lifestyle clients

Requirements:

• Solid consumer experience (ideally tech and lifestyle accounts)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading a team
• New business and pitching experience
