This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing, creative group of communications and research experts. Due to expansion and the launch of an exciting new division which is already a roaring success, they are on the lookout for an experienced Associate Director to join their expanding PR team and play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful campaigns, leading client relationships and maintaining a high-performance team culture.   

Clients are SUPERB - some of the biggest and best/well known and loved brands spanning everything from entertainment to food/drink, beauty, tech, travel, retail, beauty, music, alcohol and more!

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading some of the key accounts and developing client relationships.  They are looking for stellar talent that can provide creative and strategic counsel to clients and teams, and generate insight-led, culturally relevant creative ideas.  This person will manage and oversee a passionate and driven team to ensure our campaigns deliver impact, meet objectives and exceed our clients’ expectations. They must also be prepared to roll-up the sleeves and use their media know-how and contacts to secure results.  You will be expected to drive both new and organic client growth.

The ideal candidate will have some experience at this level, ideally in a PR agency environment where they have a proven track record in designing and delivering multi-channel campaigns with an earned media focus.

The Role 

  • Reporting into the Head of PR Services to build and deliver the group’s PR offering
  • Acting as the day to day senior client lead, providing creative and strategic counsel, and overseeing the development and delivery of PR-led integrated campaigns from creative brief through to implementation and analysis.
  • Contributing to new and organic business growth
  • Managing a PR team - delegating, managing workflow, driving a high-performance culture; hiring and nurturing talent
  • Maintain a “dotted line” to our Content and Production team to ensure the delivery of impactful and effective assets for clients
  • Championing the agency’s values and proposition and role-modelling desired behaviours
  • Driving profitable campaign delivery with a proactive approach to client growth

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Client and team leadership skills
  • Proven track record in creating and delivering impactful campaigns for clients across earned, paid, owned and shared channels
  • Strategic and creative flair with the ability to generate ideas that earn attention and produce impactful copy and content that can be leveraged in multiple channels
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate and collaborate with other teams and represent PR internally and externally
  • Ability to grow and develop colleagues and create a high-performance culture
  • Attention to detail, high standards, and ability to bring process and rigour to the way teams operate
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal 
  • Project management and resource planning, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines and under pressure  
  • Expertise at handling and building relationships with diverse media and influencers
  • Track record in winning and growing business
