Account Manager

Leading creative agency is looking for an Account Manager to work on one of their biggest accounts!  This hire is to be the number two to a great team leader who has been with the business for many years!  The agency is an award-winning business with a solid and inspirational leadership team.

This role would suit someone who is bursting to get their teeth stuck into a brilliant account that is a global fast food retailer! The agency manages all of the UK activity which includes the bigger brand positioning as well as the press office and campaigns.  These campaigns incorporate some influencer programmes and crisis management, with loads of varied work to keep you busy and opportunity to learn and develop along the way.  There is a huge product launch happening in the new year, therefore a great time to join the team and agency.  In addition to this global food giant, there will be one other account which is a publishing client which is CSR led, so some really nice work and mix of disciplines to get your sleeves rolled up for!

You will be the key point of contact for clients so you will absolutely need to be confident in taking charge of the day to day, driving the press office and helping your manager mobilise the team to deliver bigger campaigns. You will be exceptional at either media relations or creative and ultimately a self-starter that's hungry to learn. As well as running accounts, you’ll be helping coach two super hungry execs and supporting on new business outreach which there is plenty of!
