Reporting to the Principal Director Communications, as Director Content Creation you will be responsible for global branding in terms of the organisation's narrative and positioning, sourcing and generating content, co-ordinating publications, the newsroom, audiovisual production and campaign concepts and managing communication business partners.

Your main responsibilities  

  • Developing and co-ordinating global branding activities
  • Supporting the implementation of the Strategic Plan by developing the organisation's narrative and communication content
  • Co-ordinating the sourcing and generation of content and overseeing publication and campaign activities
  • Managing a team of communication professionals and third-party providers


What we expect from you  

  • A seasoned communications specialist with a successful track record in content creation
  • Substantial expertise in content creation and the ability to advise on (external/internal) communication content
  • International experience and a very good understanding of IP and public service missions
  • Minimum of five years' managerial experience
  • Considerable experience of project management
  • Outstanding teamwork and management skills


 Your qualifications 

  • Diploma of completed studies at master's level or – in exceptional cases – equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent knowledge of one official language and ability to understand the other two; in exceptional cases, excellent knowledge of one official language and ability to understand another
  • Citizenship of one of the member states of the European Patent Organisation

 
Time frame  
It is intended to hold the interviews in February 2020, in Munich.
 
* after deduction of EPO internal tax and before deduction of staff contributions to the social-security and pension schemes. The salary range depends on experience.
