Company

What is the Ministry of Defence?

Simply, it is the organisation that enables the Armed Forces to do their job. But it is much more than that. As Civil Servants we are involved in every facet of defence: from procuring and maintaining the equipment that our Military colleagues use on operations and supporting Ministers in implementing defence policy.

Where can you find us?

We go wherever our Armed Forces colleagues go; most of our opportunities are within the UK in almost every part of the country, although we do have a significant amount of civilian posts around the world including opportunities to undertake voluntary operational tours in places such as Bosnia and Iraq.
