PR Account Director - The Company
London talent - are you looking to make a move up North? I am working with a fantastic and celebrated mid-sized PR agency based in the very lush Leeds that is looking to bring on an expert PR Account Director to support the team and diversify their current offering. This agency offer great career development prospects and are looking for a motivated, passionate person from a London agency to come on board and join the team. Your clients will be within the mainstream FMCG space and the work will be predominantly B2C but you will be in-charge of growing their corporate comms offering.

PR Account Director- The Role
* Take ownership of current clients and ensure all needs are met to a high standard
* Develop and lead activity plans across national, regional and trade media as well as internal comms and CSR
* Maintaining strong relationships with key journalists across a range of publications
* Motivating and mentoring junior team members
* Developing and overseeing PR strategies for clients alongside other directors
* Demonstrate awareness and have the ability to run multiple campaigns
* Issues management - spotting potentially negative issues and preparing for them; reacting quickly to issues as they occur and dealing with them in an effective and timely manner.

PR Account Director - Key Skills
* Strong PR Senior Account Management / Account Director experience, ideally at a previous agency covering corporate communication for clients
* Proven creativity - when writing articles on behalf of clients to send to journalists
* The ability to work effectively under high pressure and in changing circumstances, ensuring that a high standard of work is maintained
* Prior experience in a fast dynamic agency
