We are the UK's aviation regulator and recognised as a world leader in our field. Our activities are diverse, enabling the aviation industry to meet the highest safety standards and we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to the constantly evolving aviation environment.

The Role

You will play a critical role in developing and implementing stakeholder handling strategies across a wide range of issues. Working in collaboration with the Head of External Relations you will work closely across the CAA, advising on engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including the aviation industry, Whitehall and Westminster.

You will operate across a diverse set of issues, developing and implementing engagement strategies and campaigns. You will provide communications advice as new issues emerge that impact the industry, consumers of aviation, or the reputation of the CAA. Finally, you will work closely with policymakers to support them in communicating detailed and technical matters to a wide range of audiences.

Given the impact of Covid-19, it’s likely that you will work remotely to begin with as we plan for a return to work within the government guidelines.
