We need a capable, creative and ambitious media and campaigns professional to join the media team, working for one of the UK’s most high profile organisations. Network Rail runs a vital public service, investing some £6bn every year in upgrading and running the safest railway in Europe. We’re in the public, political and media eye, handling some 10,000 media enquiries each year, highlighting the many positive stories that exist in the rail industry.
We are looking for a creative media and campaigns professional who can generate proactive media coverage across our most high profile campaign areas including safety, suicide prevention, diversity and recruitment and our charity partnerships to bring positive impacts of Network Rail’s work to life. You will also help to promote our work by helping to co-ordinate and deliver high profile documentaries with a range of production companies.
Working for the senior campaigns manager in the national media team, you will have worked in an agency or in an in-house media team on high profile PR and media campaigns, with a keen grasp of consumer short and long lead media. You‘ll have the ability to create and sell impactful multichannel stories, work closely with other channels teams, such as digital and internal communications to maximise impact. You will work well under pressure and feel at ease briefing senior spokespeople.
