Job Details

Our client is a global communications consultancy with a client list comprising some of the biggest brands and corporations in the world, each requiring strategic reputation management counsel to help them navigate ever-changing market conditions. Its Public Affairs offer is a central part of its core range of services and the team is ready to expand with the addition of an Associate Director. The practice supports all of the agency’s business units, so they need a generalist; someone who can operate across a range of sectors including technology, energy, retail, food and drink, healthcare and sport, although you would also be encouraged to build on any specialist market expertise you’ve developed already.

You’ll need deep knowledge of the UK political scene and a wide-ranging network of contacts. It’s most likely that the majority of your experience will be gained in consultancy and you’ll need proven new business skills in order to contribute to the growth of the practice. You’ll also need to be a highly credible client handler, able to manage C-suite relationships and provide high-level strategic counsel across myriad issues.

It’s a challenging role that will suit a high-achieving individual with the capacity and ambition to become a director of this progressive and diverse agency within a year.
