Financial Communications Consultant - 6 month FTC

This independent, global, strategic communications consultancy has one of the most prestigious reputations in its space. With approximately 10 dedicated practice areas, they are a communications powerhouse who work with some of the world’s leading companies to provide expert advice that addresses their most pressing communications and business challenges.

Due to a maternity leave, we are looking for a financial communications specialist to join for an initial period of 6 months (possibility to extend). Our ideal candidate will have some experience working with real estate clients, however this is not essential. 

The team you will be joining works with a number of clients in the asset management space and additionally, a number of instantly recognisable names in the property development sector, housebuilders and iconic London landmarks. The team advises its clients on their financial and corporate communications programmes, encompassing media and analyst relations, stakeholder communications and issues management in the UK and internationally.

Culturally the company and team is corporate “with a small c” – it’s a fast paced, busy team with a prestigious client list, but one where flexibility is enabled. At present, the offices are open to people who wish to go in but home/remote working is supported for those who don't wish to venture in. The Role – AD/SAD (Financial Communications)

The focus for this role is delivering best in class financial communications, calendar support and strategic advice. Experience of working with clients in the asset management/real estate sector is desirable, although not essential.

A full JD can be provided upon application, but key responsibilities will include:

  • A strong understanding of the media and how it operates, able to generate media coverage for clients
  • Financial communications/PR expertise including financial calendar work
  • Lead and support on client programmes, covering retained client and project work
  • Provide strategic advice and senior counsel to clients
  • Knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members
