Account Director, Healthcare Communications/PR - Leading Healthcare Communications Firm

The team is excited to announce a new Account Director position within the healthcare/pharma comms division. The role will ideally suit a very strong capable Senior Account Manager, ready to take the step to the Account Director level. You will primarily be working on a global account within the fascinating therapy area of Parkinson’s disease.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day and work with a junior team across a variety of projects; primarily product communications in addition to internal communications campaigns and disease awareness initiatives
• Manage all project timelines ensuring that they’re delivered on time and on budget.
• Contribute to new business pitch presentations.
• Advise and counsel clients in best strategy and be comfortable with interacting with a range of personalities.

Qualifications

• You are currently working at Senior Account Manager level or a recently appointed Account Director
• You have gained solid experience within a PR agency and bring a wealth of healthcare PR and communications expertise, looking to consolidate and build upon your current knowledge.
• You have exceptional writing abilities and you’re able to produce well-structured, medically sound copy across the content spectrum.
• Great understanding of NHS and EU health systems and fully trained in the ABPI Code of Practice
• You have experience working on global and domestic campaigns
• Degree qualified (ideally within the science, although not essential
