Are you a health communications specialist looking for a career-making challenge?
A top tier, global agency is looking for an Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their high-calibre team! This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Health PR to join a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary agency. With a client list that includes some of the most recognisable names in the Health sector, you will have the chance to work across the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership and strategic counsel for high profile clients, including directing accounts and projects, and anticipating clients’ challenges and developing strategies to solve them
- Business development, including leading and project managing new business proposals and pitches
- Taking the lead on marketing initiatives such as setting up events and promoting products
- Devising and implementing strategic comms plans and integrated campaigns
- Supporting senior leadership with running the team, including line management, and overseeing junior members’ career development
- Producing client-facing proposals, presentations, strategic plans, and other materials
- Generating media coverage
- Supporting the running of public events
- Managing political and/or stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the health and/or pharmaceuticals sector
- A track record in media relations, advocacy building, and creative campaigning
- Experience leading teams to deliver multi-market comms campaigns for pharmaceutical companies or other healthcare organisations
- A solid understanding of drug approval and Health Technology Assessment processes
- Excellent media relations skills with strong contacts in national print and broadcast
- Excellent client servicing and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Have strong commercial acumen
