ACCOUNT DIRECTOR | B2B Tech

Urgently looking for b2b technology Account Director to join this innovative agency with an eclectic mix of clients in the technology, security, social networking, network visibility and analytics sectors. Flexi working is of course in place but also a great list of benefits including bonus, excellent holiday allowance, excellent tech and home working package, healthcare, great training and, when we do get back to some kind of ‘normality’, one of the nicest locations around West London to work in.

You will already be a self-motivated and enthusiastic SAM or JAD with around 4+ years’ experience and ready to step up to the next level. You need to be a confident and well-connected person with oodles of b2b tech experience. A background in enterprise software and physical and cyber security would be a major benefit with excellent written, communications and leadership skills, and commercial acumen.  You will be responsible for actively managing, directing and developing both your team and clients with real responsibility for driving forward existing programmes and organic growth. Previous experience and the desire to work on new business is crucial as you will play an active role in new business development and pitching.

Key duties will include

  • Opportunity to join an expanding tech practice
  • To actively manage and develop a great client portfolio
  • Develop clients with real responsibility for driving forward programmes
  • Develop campaign strategies and delivering results
  • Experience in new business development and pitching.
  • Media relations
  • Work closely with clients to develop programme strategies and results driven tactics
  • Advising clients and providing communications counsel
  • Running and monitoring social media campaigns
  • Understand client strategy and account work-loads inside-out
  • Work as part of a team

You will need to be articulate, strategic thinker and organised, with excellent writing and people management skills and a demonstrable interest in and knowledge of the B2B high-tech industry. Contribution to all new business and marketing efforts are encouraged, so new business experience, proposal writing and presenting, with naturally digital know-how is a given.

Individuals will receive both internal and external training, receive a career road map and be given PDPs which will be developed and managed by a director and discussed and planned as part of a bi-annual review.
