The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

The External Affairs Officer (Media) will support the external affairs team in effectively delivering high quality media, public affairs, stakeholder relations, and integrated communications activity. You will build strong and productive relationships with across local, national and trade media, manage monitoring of the UK media landscape, be responsible for maintenance and management of our third-party contacts database, support reporting on Health Foundation media activity and co-ordinate the Health Foundation’s response to inbound media inquiries.

To be successful in the role of External Affairs Officer you will need to be educated to degree level, with significant experience of working in a fast- paced press office and implementing impactful and timely reactive and proactive media activity and have experience of delivering integrated communications plans and strategies that blend the full range of communications disciplines.
