PR Account Director (remote working)

Reporting to: General Manager

Location: Anywhere in the UK

About our company

We’re a PR and social media agency and we work with brilliant brands including 3EN, Amazon, Boyzlife, Bushmills Irish Whiskey, The Sexton, Synergy Learning and Zoopla. We specialise in regional press office management, events, social media management and content creation. There’s 13 of us, we’re independently owned, and we have impeccable taste in music. Mostly. Our campaigns play out across the UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Overview

We require an Account Director with experience and expertise in press office management, client counsel and planning and implementing digital campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for managing teams and client budgets while planning campaigns for Clearbox’s fantastic global, national and local clients. The candidate will lead, shape and grow their teams, ensuring that staff are integrated and working cohesively together, while managing campaigns for our clients. We’re based in Northern Ireland, but we’re open to candidates based around the UK, working totally remotely.

Requirements

The candidate must be outstanding at consumer PR and have experience in leading digital campaigns. From writing and editing media pitches to advising senior clients on digital strategies, the candidate will be brilliant at what they do. The candidate should have experience within a fast-paced agency environment.

The candidate needs to have a soft touch when managing people but be able to deliver campaigns with clout. They will be interested and interesting and should have a large degree of empathy. The most important thing of all is fit. We have a policy here when hiring staff and the Account Director will fit that policy. It’s very simple - no d***heads.
