Are you an ambitious healthcare / health-tech comms professional seeking an exciting new in-house challenge to create & deliver a UK PR strategy? 


The client: Ambitious Health-Tech Scale Up 

This exciting health-tech business has everything in place to revolutionise healthcare and remove all the traditional restrictions and obstacles when accessing the healthcare we need.  It already has cutting edge technology, a global network of offices and the backing of some heavy-weight investors.  Now it is hiring for a Senior PR Manager to partner the global communications teams and tell their story to the UK Market. 


The role: Senior PR Manager 

This is a fantastic new role.  It is the first dedicated PR hire; therefore, you have the best of both worlds; a role you can own while creating and activating a fully integrated PR strategy with all the support of global teams in a cutting-edge content led environment giving you all the assets you need to deliver! Reporting to Global Comms leads and Marketing Directors, the role will have external consultancy support with budget to hire juniors in H2 2021, as well as the scope for you to grow into a Head of PR. Projects include: 

Create and deliver UK PR plans and activities; developing a UK press strategy, influencer & stakeholder engagement and social media plans 

Manage the UK press office & social channels 

Develop and create varied content including thought leadership press releases, news articles, company news and op-eds 

Be a key stakeholder during crisis communication. 

Managing external PR agency. 

Skills and Experience for the role: 

Proven PR experience in the UK healthcare / health-tech sector. 

Track record designing and executing national & trade PR campaigns 

Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets. 

Exceptional writing and editing skills. 

Awareness of different topics and media agendas in the UK healthcare economy as well as the NHS healthcare system and political landscape.
