Account Director Role - B2B - £48-50K, flexible working (post Covid), company contributed pension scheme, 25 days holiday, plus birthday off. 

Based near the beach in Brighton, this fun and friendly agency is the PR and marketing partner to the world's most exciting design agencies who deliver services to a wide range of sectors from FMCG to property, retail, professional services, leisure, travel, financial services, and public sector.

Your clients will be based in London, New York, Stockholm, Sydney and many other glamorous destinations and you'll join a fun team of circa 20 PR professionals whose aim is to tell the world about the work these agencies can do.  You'll take a different approach to many traditional PR agencies – creating high quality editorial for the clients and integrating the campaigns with broader marketing activity – and you'll get outstanding results.

What they need is an Account Director who can lead on campaigns and mentor junior team members, and can be part of this growing agency and an integral part of the management team.

The role

  • Directing client campaigns – developing and proposing plans as well as ensuring everyone is inspired to keep aligned with those plans
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 3, recruiting, training and coaching, setting objectives, managing performance, implementing development plans
  • Contributing to agency leadership – as part of their management team you will be part of the team setting the direction and driving development   

About You

You will have spent many years working in PR, ideally B2B agency-side, and you’ll be looking for a new challenge.  You will understand what it takes to make PR campaigns work and will be able to confidently guide clients, many of whom are inexperienced at PR, through the complexities and subtleties of a campaign. And you’ll be an inspiring team leader.  

What they will offer

The salary range is dependent on experience, but is expected to be between £48-£50k.  They are all working from home, but will offer flexibility once back to the office.  In addition they offer a company pension scheme, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, and 25 days paid holiday, plus the day off on your birthday.  It's is a lovely place to work, based right in the heart of (sometimes) sunny Brighton, there are frequent social events – from after-work drinks on the beach to an annual overseas trip - Berlin last year - and there’s a creative, buzzy, fun, happy and friendly vibe in the office. Coupled with this the agency are growing and this will be an important hire for their senior team, and they can offer you lots of opportunities to grow within the business.
