My client is a full service, creative PR and comms agency.  They offer everything from brand consultancy to creative activations, media relations to digital and social media to experiential and launches.  All of their work is designed to create powerful, emotional connections between brands and audiences. Over the years their communications are led with their hearts which has helped change behaviour, challenge perceptions, increase brand equity and enhance bottom lines for a range of leading consumer facing brands across many sectors.  This has also led them be a multiple award-winning agency in a short few years!

This is an exciting opportunity for a digital Account Director who loves to work across many areas of digital, who will have a huge amount of autonomy, responsibility and exposure:

Role & responsibilities overview

  • Adept at strategically planning a digital/social programmefor a brand - including earned, paid, shared and owned
  • Owning the end-to-end management and deliverables of specified paid social campaignsfrom initial brief to implementation to channel planning and optimisation, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality 
  • Partnering with clients to understand key objectives and success metrics – be the face of the campaigns, providing feedback, strategic counsel and recommendations to meet business objectives
  • Advising clients on how to organically grow social channelsincluding through maximising PR campaigns and content 
  • Developing and maintaining relevant partner, publisher and tech vendor relationships
  • Be responsible for overseeing all end of month and post-campaign analysis reporting
  • Help upskill colleaguesby sharing industry insights, trends and trainings – and always be on hand to offer advice and counsel
  • Be constantly innovative,and come up with creative ways to enhance campaign performance using new features and tech
  • Adopt a continual ‘test and learn’approach to all paid social activities to ensure best in class work delivery
  • Be enthusiastic and proactive in handling a wide variety of workthat will include a mix of retained accounts and short-term campaigns
  • Having the aptitude to think on your feetis a must and the ability to work independently (particularly as they are all WFH at the moment) and as part of a much wider team is particularly encouraged

Skills & experience required

  • Essentially, they’re looking for someone smart, organised, self-motivated and driven, who wants to grab this role by the horns and use their skills to help grow and develop their clients and the agency
  • At least five years digital marketing experiencein similar agency or publisher-based roles – agency experience is preferred as the transition from client-side can be hard
  • Agency environments can occasionally be stressful, so the ability to work well under pressure to deadlines is essential as well as being able to effectively manage timeand juggle working across several accounts
  • Strong platform/channel knowledgeacross Facebook Business & Ads Manager, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and LinkedIn, TikTok - as well as strong IT skillsacross the usual Office programmes 
  • Brilliant analytical skillswith the ability to analyse large data sets, formulas and pivot tables – with a good working knowledge of excel and Google Analytics
  • Can wax lyrical about tracking pixels, UTM parameters and basic codeimplementation
  • Goodcommunications and interpersonal skillsat every level, and a high regard for confidentiality when needed
  • Ability to produce accurate work, with a good attention to detail– an excellent grasp of the English language
