A sustainability-led tech company is seeking a Communications Manager to help tell its brand story and purpose.

This innovative B2B tech business is passionate about CSR and is on a mission to make IT solutions more sustainable. Headquartered in Northern Europe  they operate in 10 countries, serving 4000 customers worldwide and managing over 2 million assets. 

The Communications Manager role will involve:

  • Using external PR to craft and share compelling stories around the brand’s sustainability-focused proposition
  • Internal communications to drive consistent interest and engagement across global offices
  • CEO thought leadership and profile building, including commentary, speaker opportunities, podcasts etc.
  • Travelling to UK offices in located in the home counties from time to time for internal meeting and once a month to Europe
  • Reporting into the Group Marketing Director and line managing a Communications Executive 

 

The ideal candidate for the Communications Manager role is someone who is passionate about CSR and sustainability has experience working with tech brands who champion this. You will ideally be at PR Manager level or Account Director, Senior Account Director, Associate Director if from an agency. You will have  experience managing global accounts, teams or agencies and developing internal comms materials / initiatives. Most importantly, the Communications Manager will be a compelling story teller, who is able to build the reputation and profile of a brand, through strategic and thoughtfully-executed PR.

 

What you get in return

 

  • Salary for the Communications Manager is circa £50-£60k, depending on experience, as well as a bonus scheme of up to 20%
  • Private pension
  • 25 days holidays excluding bank holidays 
  • Remote working (with the exception of in person meetings, when required and safe)
