The publicity division of one of the UK’s leading PR agencies has a vacancy for a dedicated and passionate Senior Account Executive.

An up and coming PR agency in its own right, this close knit, nimble team of publicists specialise in producing hard hitting news stories for their clients. They are experts in national media and content curators that know how to make headlines; leveraging digital insights and working in tandem with a sister agency - a multi-award winning broadcast consultancy - to deliver a high impact, full service offering.

The Senior Account Executive role will be a hybrid one, with the successful candidate working across the publicity and broadcast teams. The role will be varied and involve:

    Working with a mix of project-based and retained clients in the charity, FMCG, financial services and retail sectors - all big brand names that you will have heard of before.

    Regular sell ins to traditional, digital and broadcast media with lots of opportunities to work with TV, radio, podcasts etc. 

    Social media management and content creation

    Being a point person for clients / spokesperson for TV and radio filming opportunities 

    Ideas generation for new business and media cut-through pitches

 

The ideal Senior Account Executive will:

    Be either working at Senior Account Executive with experience working with across traditional and broadcast media

    Be actively interested in current affairs, culture and consumer news, with an in-depth understanding of what makes a good media story

    Have demonstrable and strong media relations experience - you know who the key media targets are and know how to go about getting their attention.

    Be a confident client handler who is able to present ideas at meetings and get client buy-in 

    Have some account management experience, ensuring all output is delivered on time and consistently to a high standard 

    Have a strong understanding of how social media and digital content can be leveraged for clients 

    Be bold and proactive in seeking out opportunities to support your clients and your team members - enthusiasm and ambition go a long way at this agency!

 

What the Senior Account Executive will get in return:

    A salary of up to circa £28,000, depending on experience

    25 days holiday excluding bank holidays
