My client is possibly the fastest growing consultancy in the corporate comms industry, boasting an impressive haul of award winds in recent years. It has successfully married the qualities and creative campaigning skills of the industry's leading larger agencies with a highly respected corporate reputation, financial PR and public affairs business.
It has a particularly strong track record in financial & professional services with both listed and non-listed clients, ranging from leading advisory firms to asset managers, fintechs, trade associations and retail banks. It is looking for a corporate comms professional specialising in the this space to work with some of its existing clients and help win business with new clients. Its priority sectors are accountancy / management consultancy, asset management, banking, fintech, insurance, law, private equity / credit, pensions, real estate, and wealth management.
The successful candidate will already be working as an Account Director in an agency or at a similar level within a financial or professional services in-house team. If the latter, their preference would be to see previous agency experience.
You will be adept at managing relationships with clients and their communications teams, helping to grow their client work, and developing junior colleagues. You should be equally comfortable running content campaigns, handling reputational issues, dealing with senior journalists, and sustaining day-to-day momentum on large, complex accounts.
