The Role
Our client is developing the derelict Old Magistrates Court building in central Bristol into a creative enterprise hub for creative and cultural organisations and young emerging artists, creatives and those looking to go into the creative industries. To ensure that young people are included in the design, build and launch of the building, our client is recruiting a Youth Involvement Officer.
Over the next 12 months, you will lead the involvement of young people in this major £6m development, ensuring their vision and ideas shape the design and use of the building. You will support young people to work with the community, other young people and the professional design, build and project management team to put their ideas at the heart of this new development.
About You
To be considered as a Youth Involvement Officer, you’ll need:
- At least two years’ experience of working with young people to develop their personal skills and qualities
- Experience of youth involvement in a large-scale project
- Small budget management experience
Salary: £23,284 (pro rata) grade 2.3
Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term (12 Months)
