A leading strategic consultancy is seeking an intelligent Account Executive to join its team 

About the Company

This independent strategic consultancy is best known for its work on high profile media stories involving big corporate companies. Its portfolio of clients spans across leading names in the financial services, legal, technology and energy sectors. The close-knit team is made up of experienced, strategic advisors and consultants, that specialise in a range of different areas, from crisis communications, to financial PR, litigation comms, alongside traditional and digital PR. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress rapidly.

The Account Executive role will be heavily press office focused with tasks including:

  • Building media lists
  • Media monitoring and producing media audits
  • Drafting pitches and press releases 
  • Pitching to corporate and B2B media 
  • Attending meetings with senior members of staff and note taking
  • Supporting the team on preparing crisis comms materials
  • Supporting the team on admin and reporting

The Account Executive doesn’t necessarily have to have corporate experience but a strong interest in this area is required. Additional desired attributes for the Account Executive::

  • Being a mediahound who actively takes an interest in current affairs 
  • Corporate or B2B PR experience
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skill are a must
  • Attention to detail and being highly organised is also key

In return, the successful Account Executive will get a salary of between circa £24-27k, dependent on experience, along with 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays. You will  get exposure to big, impressive high profile clients and there is LOTS of room for quick development and progression if you are switched on and enthusiastic.
