To meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, we are seeking a highly motivated, resourceful and experienced Corporate Communications professional to lead and develop our in-house Corporate Communications team.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Constable, you will provide strategic leadership for the Corporate Communications department in one of the UK’s largest Police Forces. As a member of the Force’s Senior Leadership Team, you will identify key communications priorities, provide professional and timely challenge to the status quo and support the development of the Force's Corporate Communications strategy.
Leading a team of dedicated communications specialists, whilst using your expertise in strategic corporate communications, you will plan, manage, deliver, evaluate and continually develop the Force's reactive and proactive media delivery through owned and non-owned channels. You will ensure high quality delivery, content and impact to support community relations and contribute to building and sustaining public confidence.

You will use your skills as a professional communicator to ensure effective internal communications to inform, connect and empower our workforce and to influence positive change.
